Kai Coders Inspires at ISTE Live 2024 Conference in Denver

Congratulations to our founder and CEO, Deanna Bledsoe, and her student presenter for delivering an inspiring session at this year’s ISTE Live 2024! Held in Denver, this renowned annual conference brought together over 17,000 educators, administrators, and technologists from around the world to explore the future of technology in education.

During the presentation, Deanna and her 6th-grade student demonstrated the incredible potential of empowering young learners with hands-on coding and technology tools. By using Scratch Foundation block coding, Makey Makey circuit boards, and Arduino-SC microcontrollers, the students’ creativity truly took flight. The session highlighted how, even when coding and technology may seem overwhelming, with the right tools and guidance, students can unlock boundless innovation and fun.

From building interactive projects to experimenting with circuits, the presentation underscored the idea that coding for kids can be both engaging and transformative, equipping the next generation with essential tech skills for the future.
